The Women, Immunity and Sexual Health ( WISH ) Lab at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (PI: Tierney Lorenz,  https://wishlab.unl.edu/ ) invites applications for a full-time Research Specialist. The lab uses psychophysiology, biosample collection and analysis, clinical interviewing, and surveys to examine the interactions between women’s sexual, mental and physical health. The successful candidate will play an integral role in every stage of research, including (1) recruitment and collection of human subject data, (2) assay of biosamples for immune and endocrine factors, (3) analysis of data, and (4) assisting in the preparation of grants and manuscripts. In addition, in their managerial capacity they will perform administrative duties (e.g.,  IRB  administration, purchasing) and help train and supervise lab personnel (e.g., undergraduate research assistants; lab technical staff in other units collaborating with the  WISH  lab).
