The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Iowa invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor. We seek innovative neuroscientists working in any area of psychology whose research advances understanding of behavior, learning, and/or cognition. We are open to candidates who use experimental approaches with human or non-human animals as well as those who use computational approaches or modeling. The position includes a generous startup package and opportunities for teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels; the teaching load for assistant professors is 1:1. We particularly welcome candidates whose work will foster interdisciplinary collaborations with the Iowa Neuroscience Institute and other research communities across campus.
