The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences at American University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 1, 2027. We welcome applications from candidates engaged in high-quality research in Cognitive or Social Psychology, with the specific area of research being open. The successful candidate will be expected to establish an externally supported research program of research and teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition to a commitment to excellence in both teaching and research, responsibilities will include participation in department, school, and university activities. For this call, our particular focus is on scholars in Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America, as well as Indigenous scholars in any country. The Fellow will join an innovative, collaborative, and supportive editorial team as an Associate Editor for 12 months, beginning on Jan. 1, 2023.
